Founded in 1973, Candlewood Tool and Machine Shop, Inc. (CTM) is a state-of-the-art production and specialty tool and machine company supporting the needs of customers in our competitive economy. For over 45 years, CTM has maintained a commitment through skilled training, quality planning and constant performance improvement, to provide its customers with the finest quality products and service possible.
CTM specializes in CNC milled and CNC turned custom precision parts. Whether your needs dictate long-run or short-run manufacturing, our highly skilled and experienced staff has the knowledge and ability to deliver constant quality under the most exacting specifications and deadlines. Candlewood Tool and Machine Shop, Inc. was founded by former President/Owner George Christophersen in 1973 in the garage of his family’s home. Over the years, CTM has steadily grown to an 8300 square foot facility located in Gaylordsville, Connecticut.
CTM is currently owned by both daughter Amy Christophersen Jacques and current President, James Jacques. For over 45 years, this family-business has been known for being a quality driven job shop with low to medium production capabilities and competitive pricing.
From our Western Connecticut manufacturing facility, CTM has demonstrated an ability to deliver our critical services to a regional, national and international customer base. Our production experience contracts in the commercial, industrial, medical, electromechanical and hardware industries. We manufacture small lots of 10 to 50, to large lots of 1000 to 5000 utilizing aluminum, carbon and stainless steels, brass and plastics.
In addition to machining custom precision parts, CTM can service your plating, painting, heat treating and welding needs through contracting with our vendor base.
